De volta do Uganda! Viagem incrível! Para os amigos que me têm perguntado pelas fotos, elas estão vivas e boas de saúde... :D

Agora a sério, estou há várias semanas a fazer a selecção das favoritas e a decidir o que fazer com elas. São tantas! Mas uma coisa é certa, as melhores são para imprimir. O digital tem milhões de vantagens, mas o impacto de uma imagem física, em papel, dentro de uma moldura, não tem comparação. Pelo menos na minha modesta opinião.

Já tenho alguns gatos prontos para pendurar e, cá em casa, não nos cansamos de olhar para eles!

Back from Uganda! Amazing trip! In response to the friends who have been asking about the photos, they're alive and doing well... :D

Seriously, I've been trying to make a selection for several weeks now and decide what to do with them. So many! One thing's for sure, I'm printing the best ones. Digital has a million advantages, no doubt, but there's no comparison to the impact of a physical, paper, framed image. At least in my humble opinion.

I have some of the cats ready to hang and we can't get enough of them!

Já fiz algumas viagens interessantes (não me posso queixar), mas não consigo deixar de pensar que "desta vez é a sério!" 3 semanas a fotografar no Uganda ainda me parece demasiado bom para ser verdade!

Além da incrível vida selvagem, que inclui os gorilas da montanha e os leões trepadores de árvores de Ishasha, as diferenças culturais vão ser como um íman para a minha máquina!

E a total ausência de tecnologia (tirando a estritamente necessária para fotografar) vai ser uma pausa muito bem vinda no frenesim de informação diária que, espero, me permitirá fazer um "reset criativo".

This time it's for real!

I've been on some pretty interesting trips before (can't complain), but I can't help thinking "this time, it's for real!" 3 weeks photographing in Uganda still seems too good to be true!

Besides the incredible wildlife, which includes the mountain gorillas and the Ishasha tree-climbing lions, the cultural differences will act like a magnet on my camera!

And the total absence of technology (besides the strictly necessary for photographing) is going to be a very welcomed pause to the daily frenzy of information that I hope will allow me to make a "creative reset".
