Não é novidade nenhuma a utilização de objectivas externas na camera de um telemóvel, através de um adaptador. Mas esta ideia tem crescido e tem havido sugestões insistentes (nomeadamente no podcast This Week In Photo) para a comercialização de um suporte que contenha um sensor de qualidade (CMOS, CCD, como o das reflex) e um encaixe para objectivas (Canon, Nikon, etc), que depois use como interface um dispositivo tipo iPhone. Já existem soluções a meio caminho (www.photojojo.com), mas ainda usam o sensor do próprio smartphone, o que limita muito a qualidade dos resultados.
Hoje deparei-me com mais esta novidade, muito interessante, onde o iPhone serve de LCD remoto da camera.

It's no big news, the use of external lenses on a cell phone camera, through an adapter. But this idea has been growing and there have been repeated suggestions (namely on the This Week In Photo podcast) for the commercialization of a device containing a quality sensor (CMOS, CCD, like the ones in a SLR) and a lens mount (Canon, Nikon, etc), that would then use an iPhone as it's interface.
There are already some "half way" solutions (www.photojojo.com), but they still use the smartphone's sensor, which limits the quality of the results.
Today I stumbled apon this new interesting device, where the iPhone is used as the camera's remote LCD screen.
